Connect another provider with IMAP and SMTP

Mail Hub supports compatible providers through IMAP for reading and SMTP for sending.

You will need the mailbox email address, authentication username, mailbox password, IMAP host/port/encryption and SMTP host/port/encryption.

1. Open Mail Accounts and choose the standard provider option.
2. Enter the provider settings exactly as supplied by your email provider.
3. Use the full email address as the username unless the provider specifies otherwise.
4. Save the account and run Test authentication.

An authentication failure means the server was reached but rejected the credentials. A timeout or connection error points instead to the endpoint, port, TLS mode or network.
